This is a direct appeal from a jury conviction of two counts of burglary (K.S.A. 21-3715) and two counts of theft (K.S.A. 21-3701).

The crimes took place at the Kechi Drilling Company, Inc., located in North Wichita, Kansas. The first burglary occurred on or about February 8, 1974; the second, on or about June 7, 1974. Losses from the first burglary included currency, a large number of quarters...
