Thomas Ball, a prisoner of the State of Missouri, appeals from the dismissal by the District Court of his petition for a writ of habeas corpus pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254. Ball was convicted of murder in the first degree in the Circuit Court of the City of St. Louis, and sentenced to life imprisonment.
