On August 24, 1964 Lewis E. Aleman filed suit against the two defendants claiming that he was totally and permanently disabled as a result of injuries suffered in a work related accident which occurred on July 25, 1963. Lengthy delays in the litigation ensued and on October 16, 1974 the trial court found for the plaintiff and awarded him four hundred weeks compensation at $35.00 a week, less certain credits.
