ROGERS, Judge.

Plaintiff, Skye Realty Company, brought this action against defendant, State of Louisiana through the Department of Highways, for alleged damages to property resulting from the widening of a state highway. The trial court granted plaintiff judgment on one of its demands and awarded it damages of $2,913.00, and the court awarded two of plaintiff's expert witnesses a sum total of $700.00 for expert witness fees.
