OPINION
PAOLINO, Justice.
This is a civil action for personal injuries resulting from a rear-end motor vehicle accident. The case was heard before a justice of the Superior Court sitting with a jury and resulted in a verdict for the plaintiff in the amount of $2,300. The case is before us on the plaintiff's appeal from a judgment denying his motion for an additur or for a new trial on the question of damages only.
