GULOTTA, Judge.

Defendant appeals from a judgment declaring plaintiff to be the owner of certain batture property on the west bank of the Mississippi River in Jefferson Parish. We affirm.

Plaintiff's possessory action in which he seeks recognition of his right to undisturbed possession of the land in dispute has been converted into a petitory action by defendant's answer and reconventional demand seeking recognition of defendant's ownership of the property...
