This is an expropriation proceeding by the State of Louisiana through the Department of Highways, in connection with the construction of a portion of Interstate Highway 12 in St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana. On November 16, 1971, the Department of Highways obtained an order under the "quick-taking" statute, LSA-R.S. 48:441 et seq., for the expropriation of a strip of land consisting of 18.431 acres from a 120 acre-tract in Sections 3 and 4, T7S, R10E...
