Defendant was charged with the illegal transportation of liquor (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1973, ch. 95 1/2, par. 11-502). Pursuant to Supreme Court Rule 604(a)(1), the prosecution appeals from the order of the trial court suppressing as evidence open cans of beer found in the glove compartment of defendant's automobile.
