Following a bench trial, defendant was convicted of one count of attempt bribery (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1973, ch. 38, pars. 8-4, 33-1), and one count of official misconduct (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1973, ch. 38, par. 33-3) and sentenced to four years probation. He was acquitted on conspiracy to commit bribery. (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1973, ch. 38, par. 8-2.)
