On August 21, 1974, Mr. John Cone, acting on behalf of plaintiff North American Steel Corporation, appeared in defendant's Detroit office and delivered to a Mr. Thomas Vyn, the head of Siderius' Detroit office at the time, a "purchase order" of plaintiffs.
