Defendant, Orlando Schuford, was charged by complaint with the offenses of unlawful use of weapons and failure to carry a valid firearm owner's identification card (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1975, ch. 38, pars. 24-1(a)(4), 83-2(a)). Following a bench trial, defendant was found guilty of both offenses and sentenced to two years' probation, the first 15 days to be served in the House...
