This matter is before us on a petition by the Commonwealth to extend time for trial beyond the 180-day limit fixed by Pa.R.Crim.P. 1100. There are two issues before us: (1) From what date the 180 days is to be computed? (2) If this issue is determined unfavorably to the Commonwealth, do the circumstances present warrant the granting of the requested extension?
