The defendant was indicted in February 1975 for the offense of recklessly causing the death of one Waldemar Buranen, RSA 630:2 I (b). Trial was held in late March of 1975. The jury returned a verdict that defendant was guilty of the lesser included offense of negligent homicide, RSA 630:3 I.
