Plaintiff, Lorraine E. Needy, as administratrix, brought an action against defendant, Marvin O. Sparks, for the wrongful death of Frank E. Needy, her husband. Defendant filed a counterclaim for personal injury and property damages. The causes were severed and trial was had upon plaintiff's complaint alone. The jury returned a verdict in favor of plaintiff in the amount of $125,000. The...
