This is an appeal from a judgment of the District Court of Washington County. United Electric Corporation (United) commenced the action in 1974 against numerous defendants including George W. Olsen Construction Company (Olsen) and All Service Electric Company (All Service). After dismissals and voluntary payments by some defendants, the case was tried to the court in November 1975 with only Olsen and All Service as defendants.1
