The issue here is as to the appropriateness of the sanction of dismissal on the merits for plaintiff's failure to comply with the trial court discovery order for production of a tie rod and expert reports concerning such tie rod.

That the plaintiff failed to comply with the trial court discovery order cannot seriously be disputed on this record. The trial court so held, and that finding is affirmed.
