The defendant, Herbert L. Miner was convicted in the Circuit Court of Jackson County of "felony murder." He appeals.

On Sunday, January 12, 1975, sometime after 10 p.m., the Reverend Gary Tanner placed a telephone call to the Williamson County sheriff's department. Reverend Tanner, calling on behalf of the defendant, informed one Deputy Cradle that the defendant had been involved...
