Plaintiff initiated this action as the named beneficiary of two group life insurance policies covering the life of her deceased husband. These policies had been purchased and maintained by defendant Grand Rapids Label, decedent's employer, from defendant Life Insurance Company of North America (INA).

Plaintiff's husband was Marketing Vice President of Grand Rapids Label. He was killed on May 14, 1974 in the crash of a Beechcraft Baron aircraft...
