Defendant, Ruby Service, was charged by complaint with the offense of aggravated assault in violation of section 12-2(a)(1) of the Criminal Code (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1975, ch. 38, par. 12-2(a)(1)). After a bench trial, the trial court found defendant guilty as charged, sentenced her to one year probation, and ordered her to pay a $250 fine. From this judgment of conviction, defendant now...
