A declaratory judgment action was brought by appellant Stearns-Roger Corporation (Stearns) and Phelps-Dodge Corporation (Phelps-Dodge) asking that an insurance policy issued by appellee Hartford Accident and Indemnity Company (Hartford) be construed to afford coverage as to a particular accident.
