William Schindler claimed total disability from exposure to asbestos, while in the employ of respondent, Hans Jensen & Sons, under the Workmen's Occupational Diseases Act (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1971, ch. 48, par. 172.36 et seq.). The arbitrator found that Schindler had been totally and permanently disabled and that Jensen was liable under the Act (ch. 48, par. 172.36(d)) because...
