On September 9, 1975, defendant, pursuant to a plea agreement, pleaded guilty to one count of aggravated battery and one count of unlawful use of weapons, in violation of sections 12-4 and 24-1 of the Criminal Code of 1961 (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1973, ch. 38, pars. 12-4, 24-1). After properly admonishing defendant, the judge accepted the plea. The State also dismissed seven other charges against...
