In the Criminal Court of Baltimore, a jury, presided over by Judge Martin B. Greenfeld, found Johnny Lee Facyson, the appellant, guilty of rape. On appeal, he contends, among other things, that the trial court erred in permitting a character witness to testify as to his familiarity with charges that the appellant had previously committed criminal acts.
