James Milton Lewis, proceeding pro se, appeals the district court's denial of his § 2255 motion and his subsequent Rule 59(e) motion.

Lewis was convicted of one count of possession of heroin with intent to distribute, one count of possession of heroin and cocaine with intent to distribute, and one count of distribution of heroin, in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 841(a)(1).
