This is an appeal from a denial of bail pending the appeal of the defendant's conviction. On June 26, 1976, the defendant was convicted of the possession of more than one thousand pounds of marijuana, making this offense a class B felony. RSA 318-B:26 I(c) (Supp. 1975). The Hillsborough County Superior Court sentenced the defendant to the maximum term of imprisonment for a class B felony, three-and-one-half to seven years in the New Hampshire State Prison...
