Appellant, William Dee Ellis, hereinafter referred to as defendant, was charged with the offense of Robbery with Firearms, in violation of 21 O.S.Supp. 1973, § 801, and was tried and convicted in the District Court, Oklahoma County, Case No. CRF-75-3989.
