At jury trial, Richard Tiffin was found guilty of two counts of armed robbery. He contends that he was unlawfully arrested and that evidence of lineup and photographic identifications as well as in-court identifications should have been suppressed under the "fruit of the poison tree" doctrine. See Wong Sun v. United States, 371 U.S. 471, 9 L.Ed.2d 441, 83 S.Ct. 407 (1963). In addition, he argues that he was prejudiced...
