LORENZ, Justice.

Defendant pleaded guilty to armed robbery in violation of section 18-2 of the Criminal Code of 1961 (Ill.Rev.Stat.1975, ch. 38, par. 18-2) and was sentenced to a term of four to twelve years. On appeal he contends that the State failed to honor its agreement to recommend the minimum sentence at his hearing on aggravation and mitigation.
