The defendant is charged with operating within the federal reservation at Fort Meade, Maryland, a motor vehicle at a speed of 25 miles per hour, in excess of the posted speed limit of 15 miles per hour and thus in violation of 18 U.S.C. §§ 7 and 13 and Md.Ann.Code art. 66½, § 11-801 (1957). The offense is punishable by a fine not to exceed $500. Md.Ann.Code art. 66½, § 17-101(b) (1976 Cum.Supp.). No penalty...
