BEVILACQUA, Chief Justice.

This is an appeal from a judgment of the Superior Court dismissing an action to recover for checks cashed upon forged endorsements. The defendant's motion to dismiss was granted on the ground that the action is barred by the statute of limitations.

The plaintiffs were copayees with their father, George Fuscellaro, on six checks issued by the American Guaranty Corporation through its receiver, in complete satisfaction...
