Frank William Dudley was convicted, after a jury trial, on a charge of transportation of a stolen motor vehicle in violation of the Dyer Act, 18 U.S.C. § 2312. In this appeal Dudley asserts that his conviction should be reversed because the trial court erroneously admitted proof of a prior conviction for violation of the Dyer Act, which he contends violates Federal Rules of Evidence, Rules 403 and 404(b).
