Appellant, Herbert Lee Ballard, hereinafter referred to as defendant, was charged by Information in the District Court, Oklahoma County, Case No. CRM-76-852, with the misdemeanor offense of Carrying a Concealed Weapon, in violation of 21 O.S. 1971, § 1289.8. He was tried to a jury and upon a verdict of guilty, was sentenced to pay a fine of Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($250.00...
