OPINION

BROCK, Justice.

The plaintiff brought this action for divorce alleging that the defendant had abandoned her, or turned her out of doors, and refused or neglected to provide for her, a ground for divorce specified by T.C.A., § 36-802(3). The defendant failed to interpose any defense and a default judgment was accordingly taken against him. Thereafter, the case came on for hearing before the circuit judge and the testimony of the plaintiff established...
