This appeal arises out of a judgment in favor of Milford Douglas Sweat against Alaska Airlines for injuries sustained in an airplane crash. Sweat was a passenger aboard a Chitina Air Service plane which encountered a "whiteout" and crashed on the Bering Glacier.
