PEOPLE v. WALKER

No. 76-448.

368 N.E.2d 1074 (1977)

53 Ill. App.3d 660

11 Ill.Dec. 466

The PEOPLE of the State of Illinois, Plaintiff-Appellee, v. Lorenzo WALKER, Defendant-Appellant.

Appellate Court of Illinois, Second District.

October 14, 1977.

Attorney(s) appearing for the Case

Ralph Ruebner, Deputy State Appellate Defender, Daniel A. Cummings, Elgin, for defendant-appellant.

Philip G. Reinhard, State's Atty., Rockford, Phyllis J. Perko, Martin P. Moltz, Ill. State's Attys. Assn., Elgin, for plaintiff-appellee.

GUILD, Justice.

In a bench trial the defendant was found guilty of violation of bail bond (Ill.Rev.Stat. 1975, ch. 38, ¶ 32-10) and sentenced to 1-3 years in the penitentiary. The sole issue is whether the evidence shows beyond a reasonable doubt that the defendant wilfully violated the conditions of his bail bond. We agree with the conclusion of the trial court that the defendant did wilfully violate the terms of his bail bond and accordingly affirm.
