DOWD, Judge.

Defendant-appellant appeals his conviction by a jury in the Circuit Court of non-support of a minor child under § 559.353, RSMo 1969, a misdemeanor, § 556.040, RSMo 1969. Defendant was ordered to pay a fine of five hundred dollars. We reverse and remand for a new trial.
