This case arose out of a collision which occurred about 4:30 p.m. on July 6, 1970, in the intersection of Benton Avenue and Central Street in the City of Springfield, Missouri. Benton Avenue is 44 feet wide and runs north and south. Central Street is also 44 feet wide and runs east and west.
