The Appellant, Donald Ray Polsgrove, was arrested on an unspecified charge on November 19, 1974, and lodged in the Jefferson County Jail. He was subsequently convicted of the crime for which he was indicted and sentenced on September 26, 1975, to five years in the penitentiary.
