ONION, Presiding Judge.

This is an appeal from a conviction for unlawfully carrying a handgun. V.T.C.A., Penal Code § 46.02. Punishment of one hundred twenty (120) days in jail and a fine of $300.00 was assessed by the jury.

The record discloses that around 1 a. m., April 2, 1975, police officers Townsend and Fergerson were on routine patrol in the 5th Ward area of Houston. They observed a 1974 Dodge pickup truck driven by appellant...
