SULLIVAN, Judge.

Hill appeals his conviction for theft of a motor vehicle, a violation of the Offenses Against Property Act, I.C. 35-17-5-3 (Burns Code Ed. 1975). Because we determine reversible error to have been committed, we treat only one assertion made by Hill and do not address four other allegations of error.
