In a bill of information numbered 30719, filed on June 25, 1975, the District Attorney of DeSoto Parish charged appellant Thomas R. Buckley with distribution of marijuana on April 25, 1976, in violation of Section 966(A) of Title 40 of the Revised Statutes. After having been found guilty by a jury on November 25, 1975 appellant was sentenced on December 10, 1975 to imprisonment for ten years at hard labor, to run consecutively with the sentence imposed...
