Plaintiff Larry Poston is the record owner of a 20-acre tract of unimproved land. Defendant Viola Worland is in possession of 11.5 acres thereof which lies between the parties' farms. Plaintiff Poston sued for possession and to quiet title to the 11.5-acre tract and defendant Worland counterclaimed, alleging she had acquired title to the tract by adverse possession.
