A jury convicted defendant Patrick Joseph Savage on January 6, 1977 of knowingly possessing approximately $25,120 in counterfeit twenty-dollar Federal Reserve Notes in violation of 18 U.S.C. §§ 2 and 472.1 The district court sentenced him to three years' imprisonment and he now appeals, alleging two points of error. First, he contends that the district court erred in failing to suppress as illegal evidence...
