On March 1, 1976, it was discovered that a building owned by the Illinois National Bank & Trust Company had been burglarized and that a car owned by that company had been stolen from within. The burglary took place in Winnebago County. Five days later, defendant and three others were found in Cook County with defendant in possession of the car.
