On February 16, 1966, the Appellant, Carl W. Sanderson, entered a plea of guilty of first degree murder and was sentenced to imprisonment for life. On December 6, 1973, he filed a Petition for Post-Conviction Relief with the Grant County Circuit Court challenging the entry of that plea.
