The Legislature, during the 1976 Regular Session, passed two separate acts, Act Nos. 757 and 758, both of which are said to apply to counties of 600,000 inhabitants or more. The title of Act No. 757 reads: ". . . giving constables in all such counties the exclusive power to serve all civil processes in the geographical district or areas for which they were respectively, elected or appointed."
