BISSETT, Justice.

This is a suit for damages for breach of contract, and, in the alternative, for negligence in the performance of professional services. Thomas Ryan (Dr. Ryan) and wife, Beverly Jean Mitchell Ryan, were plaintiffs in the trial court and Morgan Spear Associates, Inc., an architectural corporation, was defendant therein.
