Defendant, Harold Watts, was charged in the circuit court of Marion County with theft by receiving stolen property (over $150) in violation of section 16-1(d) of the Criminal Code of 1961 (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1975, ch. 38, par. 16-1(d)). Following a jury trial, defendant was found guilty as charged and was sentenced to a term of two to six years imprisonment to be served consecutively...
