John Ernest Schlaefli, hereinafter appellant, has appealed from his conviction of first degree rape and the sentence thereon of not less than twenty years nor more than life. We have jurisdiction pursuant to A.R.S. § 12-120.21(A)(1) and § 13-1711. Appellant was convicted of the offense by a jury after they heard the following facts.
