The defendant was convicted in county court of willful failure to file a personal property tax return in violation of section 77-1232, R.R.S.1943, and was fined $500. Upon appeal to the District Court the judgment was affirmed. The defendant has now appealed to this court and contends the judgment should be reversed because he was denied a trial before a 12-member jury in the county court, the county court refused to instruct the jury that it should...
